I feel like there's a case for cozy winter Sanae as well: summer is popular girl season, winter is dork hibernation season. A whole three-four months of darkness, cold, and an environment that actively keeps you from going outside. It would be the perfect time for her to stay inside, wrapped in blankets, 100%-ing whatever retro titles she fancies.
Not to mention, winter is the season of hugs and cuddles! With how poorly insulated traditional japanese buildings are, you'd be spending a lot of nights falling asleep wrapped in one another's arms, or sharing a snug blanket on with her on the sofa, made (Ludovico style, if need be) to watch pre-2000's anime with her. (Also, could you imagine caring for Sanny if she ever caught a cold? Kissing her on her little stuffed nose, doting on her as you do what you can to help her through it? Ruffling her hair as she naps, sleeping her way to recovery...)

Remember to ride the train a lot, and make sure to carry two or three unopened Gunpla kits with you at all times. The first you'll do to get where you need; the other you'll do to make a certain girl very, very happy.
