Mega has a double sided 1x2 piece, flexible tubing, sloped pieces with studs, and a host of unique colors as well as a bunch of realistic street lights, rearview mirrors, and plants. I had avoided Mega for a while because their sets were so poorly made, but around 2018 their bricks started having higher tensions than Lego. I bought a bunch of their "Inventions" packs in late 2018/early 2019 on post-Christmas clearance for those pieces and colors, and I've used them regularly. I hope the Mattel Brick Shop thing releases packs of loose pieces again; I'd buy them.
