It has a lot to do with everything including your flaw. You are taking in very imperfect data and drawling black and white conclusions from it. You assume they are not doing the same to everyone else, or that their behavior isn't primed by other metrics such as wanting something out of the person so taking on a different behavior as a means to get what they are after, what if them treating you like a " pet/owner" is them just relaxing and being the real them around you?
