Deep down I still want to believe, because the thematic parallels are still there, and despite what you all think, there is plenty of stuff that could be done with what has been set up, even if it is soap opera drama stuff that people here don't like at all. But better writers have disappointed me before, and the Hellaverse is already full of wasted potential.
