I agree. I find the idea that good art in any medium simply stops being made after an arbitrary date (typically whenever the speaker leaves their teenage years) is insane and only said by severely depressed or cowardly individuals too scared to watch new things that have nebulous reputations and can only watch classics for e-peen. However like said >>280277896 there is undoubtedly always going to be strong and weak eras for any medium. Non-anime example but the 70s, specifically in American film, is my favourite decade for movies, likewise I think the 2010s~20s is the weakest era for games, but I'd still say there's plenty of good ge-mu being made. Just like how good anime continues to be made, even if we aren't in the greatest ever era for it.
