Why does South America feel like some kind of fairyland continent? They have the oddest and strangest paranormal stuff, and it's often shockingly visible and acknowledged by the vast majority of the population. On top of that, their "normal" animals are all so fucking weird and have a dreamlike, fairylike quality to them. Just think of the Tapir or the Maned Wolf.
