Anyone think Metaphor was probably Atlus worst game recently? It's not that it was bad and it's still a 8/10 game. Let's be honest here. Atlus almost never misses, every single one of their game has been 8/10+ unlike another jrpg company... It's just that it's way too safe. Plot moves in a predictable and boring direction. Style is a little bland even if generic fantasy is underutilized now a days. Gameplay just feels like a neutered Persona game. Not really much style desu either which I kinda love from Atlus games.
