We do not fully appreciate how fanatical these people really are. It is no trouble at all to find scores of terminally online fat basement dwellers to become a reddit mods and spend countless hours banning people they disagree with.

We are a mix of libertarians, christians, paleocons and so on with different motives, we generally believe our arguments should stand on their merits and echo chambers are boring and cringe. This division is probably a bad thing, but the level of conformism seen among the left is inhuman. Basic things like wanting to know the truth even if it is an abstraction are of no interest, all that matters is the correct viewpoint to virtue signal, if you do not parrot it you are viewed with instant suspicion, after all if you question one thing it might lead to another and another and soon people are talking about crime rates, genetics et cetera.. They are like this without the NKVD breathing down their neck too. They choose to be like this. They want this and perhaps yearn to moderate more than a webphorum one day.

It is more like the state, corporations and media are working together to push mainstream culture and the "right" is an ad-hoc alliance of different groups. There are trad christians, white and minorities, there are rednecks, then there are degenerates like most here who were raised to be soiboys but rejected the mainstream, either because they were nerds or schizos who didn't fit in or a very tiny minority smart enough to just realize it is bullshit.

It would be nice though if we all became wholesome trad christians like the 1950s and our minority allies accepts when we practice lowkey segregation to keep our daughters away from 'jeets, but that's not really what's happening.
