Yes? It's literally what every movie has always been about. Getting the stupid xeno, studying it, making stuff with it. The series has ALWAYS been about merging with technology. It's essentially what the Space Jockey was. Putting xeno stuff onto/into humans is grotesque and horror, but also makes them hardy and powerful etc. The idea has been around since the 80's. And yeah, it's much better than any of the shit they made instead which is just retreading the same and memberberries
