First time reading through the Mother novelization for research for the Mother 1+2 jump. Definitely gonna include it as an alternate continuity drawback (+0 CP) for the America scenario and the America+Eagleland scenario. It's interesting, to say the least. Way more adult than the source material while also having a far more optimistic ending of Giegue's spirit being at peace and him ascending with Maria to be her child. Quite wholesome. It's well worth a read.
