Arnold didn't achieve anything close to aesthetics either. He was a mass monster who was cartoonishly disproportional and favored size over proportions. Most of his seven Olympia "wins," most of were against only one or two guys, were thanks to plenty of Weider scheming. Let's face it. 68-74 were four or fewer guys. 71/72 in particular had only Arnold competing because everyone else was banned by Weider for competing in Mr. Universe.
Nubret really should've been given the win over Arnold on Aesthetics and superior conditioning alone in 74/75. But Arnold had the movie in 75 too so the win went to him. Arnold is big? So what. That's just because he has big bones. And Franco with his smooth legs and generally poor conditioning never should've placed any higher than last. But he was Arnold and Weider's friend so he got placed higher than a he should've just like against Zane who beat Franco on development, conditioning, and symmetry. Zane looked like what David would look like if Michelangelo knew what a barbell was from 76-69.
The only show he could be said to have "fairly" won was in 1970 against Oliva when Oliva fell for one of Arnold's (((tricks))) and came in too smooth because of it. Arnold is highly overrated as a body builder.
