That would probably work better if Sweet Mask didn't just talk about how he thinks he's monsterizing entirely and will cease to be human entirely soon.
But I'm willing to take this as Saitama actively making an attempt to reassure Beauto about his humanity but kinda struggling with his words. If you see this as him learning from his experience with Garou and not repeating the same error but still not quite getting there, it works quite well as character development.
Maybe someday he'll actually manage to give a motivational speech that doesn't just make the recipient feel worse.
