There's been a few instances of hastily converted anti-mobile suit weapons in Gundam, the two i can think of off the top of my head are the Junior mobile suits in Zeta that were used against the Titans on Luna and those Mobile Workers in IBO.
Would you watch a show where the main Gundam was one of these things painted white and blue with a V-Fin and it had to fight fully sized mobile suits funded by space oligarchs/space burgerbucks?
I think it would be fun
