The Commander of the Watch Towers at the Kent Pass died, you believe of natural causes. You need a new commander! The job is critical - monitoring the horizon to see approaching enemies, and light fires to alert the village to mobilize the army. You have ten such towers, which can give you early warning over 20 miles away, giving you roughly a day to prepare for any invasion. They are manned by a couple militia archers each, who rotate in 12 hour turns all the time.
