I found neetdom to make gaming not nearly as enjoyable. Sure, I don't get to complete as many games, but absence makes the heart grow fonder.
On the flip side, fatigue from work and more so little time after work does make gaming more difficult.
It's a grass in greener scenario for sure, but I'd rather work cause, as you said, the neet option runs out sooner than later and leaves you with little prospects. All the neets I know say their just gonna kill themselves when their sick aging mothers die
