so I want to search for any other options closer to home
but I lucked out with good paying job (relative to only having a bio bachelors) that pays pretty much twice other entry level bio jobs which pay like shit
and all the other jobs related to mine that pay on the same level and are closer to home (a small selection already) are require a lot more experience than what I have after 3+ years
I'm in a good spot and shouldn't complain but even in a secure position just looking for options and finding they don't exist puts that fear back in me

You don't even enjoy the gaming, you watch all your friends earn more and then gain ego with their new positions and authority, you get left behind as your mashing A or shooting another mob. This past year has been better than the last 4 because I moved back home, stacked cash delivering pizzas, stopped gooning, got shredded, and played Nightreign. Basically just control your sex drive (impossible if NEET nearly btw so forgive yourself a bit) and eat cleanly and you can begin to crawl out. I make OK money in a free living situation, it won't last forever neither will your NEET circumstances and at some point it might be 19, 26, or 39 but you'll change and take care of yourself. I did.

I've been a neet ever since I got laid off right before the coof hit and I just never returned to the work force and have just been living off a combination of unemployment and some rent payments I get from a house that my late father rented out to tenants. Recently I've come the closest to wanting to kill myself finally. I live in fucking Ohio, seems like they're pricing out completely the destitute poors and NEETs on gibs entirely. It's the exact same shithole apartment I was paying $450 a month back in 2012, no renovations and barely any repairs but now they expect $1000+ a month to live here.

I guess all rides end, but god damn the work environments in USA are fucking atrocious. I have 9 years of experience in retail personally, and I tried to work in some thrift store tending to donations earlier this year. Lasted two months, couldn't stand working with bitch managers who wanted to micromanage every single fucking thing around my job with a cuntish attitude to boot. If there was nothing to do, they had me re-arrange the same fucking 10 shelves where they put the donations for sale for 3-4 consecutive hours. I put my head down and just would bear with it, until I noped out and just never showed up again.

I can't imagine how hellish workplace politics is for the higher paying jobs here, if people in fucking minimum wage retail are stabbing each other in the back through poisonous gossip and infighting, I can only imagine how it is for those with a lot more to lose.
