On one hand, perhaps that's part of why I ended up liking this Island. The comparatively smaller scale is kind of comfy in a way, and while I definitely have some strong Girls and solid builds, the tougher fights really do feel like tough fights that just remind me of what I liked, even if the battle system is much different.

On the other some of the enemies can be a bit agonizing to deal with liKE THESE FUCKING DOGS HOLY SHIT
Thank God for Charis, I would never have gotten the 3* Challenge Clear without her being able to lock down and kill these things. She completely carried this elemental lock challenge. Truly, she is great. Though honestly even the Dogs being such massive pains in the ass is kind of refreshing in a way after being used to Reina crippling or slaughtering every non-boss encounter she faced. It's nice to have a normal enemy like this again.
The Medusa are almost as bad as they are, though.
