Ultimately the benefit of all this is partly that it makes masking individual parts much easier as you don't have to worry about a lot of fine detail, and as a particularly nice benefit, your mask will automatically be drawn around things like hands and fingers making your final results better overall.

Now there's still areas to improve on all this. For one thing I can't do outpainting (adding new areas to an image). For another I need to add an optional exclusion map which can keep the ai from auto masking anything you specifically don't want to change. I've also been looking into adding body positioning models for those trickier poses.And naturally I want to go ahead and start making my own loras. But that's for another day.
