Nah, it had been sitting in a detached shed for 5 years. A rat nest was in with the timing belt (I think it was a belt, I can't remember. It was gross.)
The guy I sold it to figured out why it was squeamish to deliver power. Something about the rear wheel tone ring being out of spec. I dunno, I dropped that thing a million times. Such a pain in my ass. He traded me 1-for-1 his manual E30 super eta with 300k miles on it. Seemed fair to me! Pic related
