It started around 2008-2010. Millwoods it was very easy to just ride your bike around and see like 5 cars parked in front of a house at all hours, or a distinct curry smell in the evenings. I went to a predominantly white elementary catholic school and by the time my friend's little brother got to elementary, it was predominantly brown. /pol/ is just finding out about this now but this has been a reality in canada for 15 years or so.
Tim Hortons are universally known here as Indian-only staff. There was a guy in February who tracked on a spreadsheet how often Tim Horton's screwed up his basic order of a black coffee and chocolate chip muffin because they couldn't understand hi. It came out to something obscene like 47%.
The news never covered it but a lot of these "whats happening" accounts on twitter/Insta ran it, not realizing the very obvious racial undertones lol
