Literally why even fucking bother? Why bother making anything good? Why bother trying to forge memories with people? They'll just end up forsaking them in favor of literally nothing. Everything I grew up with in life, and even things that were completely ancillary to my existence like this series, just go up in smoke and are destroyed through (at best) malicious neglect
