an Nvidia feature: Deep Learning Dynamic Super Resolution
it renders your screen at a higher resolution than your monitor can display, then downscales the image to your monitors resolution. it sounds pointless but i've used it and tested it extensively over the past year and it's legitimately night and day compared to having it off
with the added benefit of being able to turn it off and play at 1440p for very demanding games (which has only been Wukong and Wilds, for me)
so turning it on with a 1440p monitor will render your screen at 4k, you then set your ingame resolution to 4k, and DLDSR downscales it to fit your monitor
picrel: this is a 1440p 27" OLED monitor
