Second game was 3k of BA and IH vs IW. The IH player is new to HH and takes his homebrew lore super seriously. It's a little special snowflake but it's still within acceptable boundaries and it's pretty cute.
When we looked at our lists I thought we were in for a shalacking, the IW player brought double Iron Havocs and an HSS with las, autocannons, and volkite culverins, and since he won the roll off to go first he took the side with most of the high ground. But then when we played he just kinda fell apart it was astonishing to watch. It helped that I told the IH player to deny flank deploy putting most of the Iron Havocs out of range and LoS.

Ty sir. I think having plastics is an undeniable net positive for the game, but the equally undeniable side effect is it significantly increases the number of greytide or spray primed cookie cutter starter box armies impulse-purchased by people. Shame.
