this i'd disagree with. my desires, or my yearning, aren't particularly tied to any inability to work on myself. and they're certainly not tied to any lack of love for myself. i deeply love me, i'm just Pretty Fuckin Sad.
the air of desperation is something i've considered, even mentioned it to somebody earlier. i think judging only by my posts and their contents, that air seems to be more present than it is. but i won't deny it's there to some small extent, just that it's not colouring my every interaction. it's only there so far as i badly want to love and be loved, nothing more.
and i don't cling, i much prefer to be clung to.
