So it's advisable to go with at least 30 or 36.

This is true of any game but I have my doubts on how well foreigners could do the same thing even if organized. Would it be possible? instance prog has been the biggest hurdle for the casual player to participate because it made them directly compete for slots with organized groups, which were previously inaccessible to them if they didn't want to join a discord since no PF would venture trying to instance prog themselves. now that discord groups or PFs can just queue directly, there's nothing stopping them from joining a random FT pop and giving it a shot since there's no longer any slot competition, and then doing a PF or joining a d*scord if it interests them. the issue with hazing people "outside of the discord group" or whatever is largely solved. this is simply a matter of you not caring enough about the content to put real effort into progging it in an organized manner.

Same here, I don't have any of the gold coin jobs either. I started OC a week later than everyone else because of my IRL job, so by the time I could begin running the content at level 1, there were already full blown PF groups demanding a specific meta for gold farming that I didn't understand yet and also didn't have access to. By the time I got to that point and understood everything, I kind of didn't want to farm gold anymore. But even if I had, I would watch other people try to set up gold farming parties and just sit there, sometimes for nearly an hour, because there wasn't really a desire among the community to do that shit anymore. Even in /xivg/, I watched a guy struggle for 40 minutes with a private goldfarm pf, until finally he went and made it public. And even then, I'm not sure if it filled.
So now what I'll do is when I go into OC, which is quite rare nowadays, I'll kill a pack of soloable trash on my warrior and get gold that way. I'll do a few rounds like this until I'm tired of it. And then I leave. This shit is ass. This content really does feel like it's made for bots. And I say this as someone who played maplestory in 2005, and BDO in 2014. I'm not a stranger to mindless grind. In fact, it's because I've done it before, that I'm not jumping at the chance to do it again.

Some leaders have no fucking idea how instances work so they just keep ramming 48 people endlessly into a instance and it obviously doesn't work, it's really bad at late hours when they do this when people are starting to log off so that "new instance" that everyone is trying to get into will never be available.
Good leads will leave people behind as fillers, ask other groups to work as fillers and and wait for instances to fill up or empty enough to accept new parties.

I did instance prog with both ABBA and FOE groups for ~15 FT runs and most of them had <30min instance progs because most leaders were actually competent at this.

Back then, people had to take off work and block everyone else except for the raid lead so there'd be no interruptions when they call time to queue in over and over trying to create a fresh instance.
We had to give out our phone number to the raid leader so he could blow it up in case we fell asleep when a fresh instance spawned and it was time to try and queue in again.
You post nerf clearers don't know how easy it is. You can just pop in, clear it first pull. The real difficulty was getting in the same instance, and it just doesn't count if you didn't clear before the hotfix, sorry!
