Goddess who touches meat and web,
Outside, the beach, inside, we tread
On deep waters, fishing for bravery to dive
Or bravery to die, to be unfolding undead
The primordial sin of nature on which we fed
Coral Khôra greet us underwater with dread
You know, great red, the water’s within
Pray join us there, teach us to swim

a ritual i realized just like yesterday that would be important to have would be one that focused more on building an intimate connection to the body. this follows the connection aspect of magical practice which i’ve identified earlier. im thinking of integrating metta which apparently actually improves telomere length which would be big if true (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0306453019300010). as a preparation ritual there would probably be some sort of practice with intuitive sight (for instance here: http://jfls.free.fr/) to tap into the feeling of being in tune with the object. actually on the topic of intuitive sight, this sort of intuitive perception of external objects might be what is behind the perception of “hodoi” that the pebbleanon had been talking about here https://archive.4plebs.org/x/thread/39965797/#39966126. as ive noted before, his approach to magic, even if imagined, has interesting resonances with what ive been thinking about. there might be some real practical use behind being intimately familiar with the “hodoi” of the body. there is also this video (https://youtu.be/9Zhnm-BOo4c?si=tC0SDzVVG8-MNiYy) ive stumbled across where this girl is apparently able to move straws with here mind by means of intuition. she describes the process as forming a connection or “getting to know” the straw before guiding it to move. this itself would confirm the connection-focused paradigm. of course she could still be faking these feats somehow, but it still ignites the imagination.
