If they were betting so hard on their worldbuilding, a Sony movie game or at most a co-op game. Going multiplayer but also wanting to build their very own Star Wars was a recipe for disaster. Who gives a shit about worldbuilding in a PvP multiplayer shooter? That shit comes later like what TF2 did.
