I don't think Isayama had intentions of making Eren reciprocate Mikasa's feelings though. He gave several interviews saying they'd grow apart and that Eren didn't view her that way. And the problem with just saying "but these scenes ~seemed romantic~ to me" is that you could easily say the same thing with Eren and Armin (or make an even stronger case, I'd say). Even the table scene makes it clear Mikasa and Armin are of equal importance to him. So unless you're saying Eren had feelings for Armin along with Mikasa I'd say your argument is weak.
