I'm pretty sure there is only one missable can in the entire game, in a late game area you don't go back to. If you miss it youre screwed until NG+. I didnt get them all in my first run and didnt know how much i was gimping myself until i got them all. You don't just get a new outfit, it increases your item capacties and even lets you revive two times in a row if you die. I'd look up a list before you go to the orbital elevator
