thats one of the more aggressive bosses in the game to begin with, and i kinda remember the floor exploding in that area. the games not that easy to begin with, no shame in dying as you make youre way through the first run. It feels like a barely functional early access indie game made by one person in 3 months. The game controls are some of the worst ever, it's almost like you control a character in GTA4. The button presses are very unresponsive and unpredictable, the cyber slut may not react to the stick at all, and a second later she can suddenly jump into the abyss from the slightest movement. She trips over every stone and blade of grass, during boss fights she got stuck in cracks in the ground several times and couldn't move or jump, during parkour I had to restart the game several times because she was hanging in the air. I can kind of see what they were trying to do with the story.
It’s the whole “humans vs. dolls” allegory as a stand-in for the “gods vs. humans” dynamic, like in Nier Automata. Even Bloodborne touched on similar themes.
But the difference is, Stellar Blade didn’t draw from mythology. It borrowed its foundation from other games.
And that’s probably why the narrative just fell apart.

Technically, they are human. As we define humans, or homo sapiens, by their genetics and DNA. At least, that's what Adam emphasizes. And that's what keeps Adam from seeing a future where Androi-Eidos could possibly replace real humans.

But what you meant, and what the game's narrative speaks to, is our humanity. Because if humans can be malicioius, murderous, monstrous beings. We don't typically look at some of history's most horrible people and think they're like the rest of humanity. Those infamous individuals are INhuman.

So, the "twist" isn't the central point of the narrative experience IMO. It's a question of the human "soul". Our humanity is not just our DNA, but our kindness, our courage, our joy, our memories. Are the Androi-Eidos not human because they lack real human DNA? Are the Naytiba real humans just because they have human DNA?

There's a classical or Renaissance aesthetic going on with both the visuals of the ruined cities and also the alpha naytiba, notice the large amount of neo-classical inspired statues and buildings, as well as bosses like Gigas sporting the same as part of their design (which is because that is the Andro-Eidos that Gigas formed from via an alpha core. Culminating in the true form of the Elder Naytiba, that looks like gilded gold and marble, and it's present in a more stylized sci-fi way on a lot of the Colony's architecture, consider the ships and drop pods. So in a horseshoe sort of way both sides seem to be reaching for a greater aspect, civilization, divinity, whichever, but falling short, the colony because it's ultimately soulless and sterile, the naytiba because they're uncontrolled primal growth, and it takes a union to find it.

Tempest is for AoE against multiple enemies. Triplet is a weaker but more reliable version of Shock Wave, the latter being able to knock down ANYTHING, including bosses, making it arguably the best skill in the game.
