i think chain sword and powersword are fairly similar. for powersword all the damage is from the power rake attack and the spin twirl. the speed vs power style really doesnt matter. its pretty one dimensional. power rake does better when you lock on, its a pretty cool attack though, a bit of ranged stagger that goes through majoris. people say chainsword is just shoulder bash spam but you have way more mix ups like stomping or the quick punch and kick. the biggest change for assault is the plasma pistol, the ranged stagger is so good, i find it makes him decent vs chaos
