They completely dropped the ball with this Purirun memory arc. The whole episode was pointless. They HAD A GOOD THING GOING with them promising to make new memories! Like that was the whole point of the episode, Uta fucking cried her eyes out, then got cheered up by Top Dad who gave her the pivotal idea, and then she barged into Meroron's home to make a new pact with Purirun and it was all really moving and promising!

then, they tossed the whole episode in the dumpster like a cheap whore. oh, purirun just gets all her memories back now. what was even the point of ALL THAT then.

Apparently this "Okouchi" dude is new, and it really shows. What a dogshit boring pointless writing decision. I checked and yeah even AzenZone agrees.
