My dad's 65 and he was about to lose his car so I gave him my old car and bought myself new car and spent like 50k

I feel like I made a poor financial choice as I sperged on my dream car (it's literally just a new golf gti, i blame nsfmw) but I also want to help him and "do the right thing" as I love him and he's a good man

But I dont know really anymore how to feel anymore. I feel like I should feel more but I just feel cold. I think I'm getting old. Everything just gets more confusing as I age. People tell me what I did is great and I made a good decision but I feel nothing. At most a bit of angst as I dont wanna damage it now
