Building a PC for the first time in ages and I am baffled by the fans, can anyone help me with my dumb confusion?
The motherboard has two 4pin CPU-FAN headers. I plugged my CPU fan into one, but it also has a 3-pin (ARGB?) cable and I don’t seem to have a header for that.
There are 5 fans on the case, all with 4pin cables going to a little hub which then has a SATA power connection and another 3-pin ARGB cord.
How do I hook up those two 3-pin ARGB cables?
If I get an ARGB controller like this one pictured and plug those 3pins into it and plug it into the second CPU-FAN header, will that work?
Also the lights aren’t necessary right, so I could turn the machine on with just the CPU fan powered and it should be fine until I get the rest sorted?
