It's always interesting reading people's opinions on things which are considered acceptable, even standard to civilization-builders. Wearing a uniform is to establish a sense of identity, and therefore accountability to the group as you are now a direct representative of them. Of course, this isn't quite as practical nowadays as it's impossible to instill a sense of accountability to... certain groups of people, and a sense of identity goes out the window when you have an organization of several cabals formed of individuals of similar traits. All other things considered, in a civilized country school uniforms serve a good purpose.
