It's a team sport for a reason anon. Even Zork was made by 4 people. There really is just too much to do. If you're a solo developer you're greatly limiting the scope of what you can do.
Especially if you try to be the pure pristine solo warrior AGDG praises where they don't even want to commission others or hire playtesters and the credits page needs to be exactly 1 line long.
Hell, Balatro had a private discord with a hundred playtesters that played and tested the build every single day, if the developer just kept to himself until release it wouldn't have been nearly as addictive and polished. Putting the game 50 times on DD still wouldn't compare in scope to how much Balatro was tested.
