Sounds like a great way to have one of the worst international diplomatic disasters in human history, a blunder rivaling putting your life on the line against a Sicilian.

Nothing would be gained other than humiliation, and something tells me either China couldn't handle the bad press, and sperg out. Either that or they handle it like they always have (they are a saving face culture).
