I felt the same last year. I went with one of my apartment roommates but we went to do separate thing to see to plan our schedule. But I got screwed over a couple of panels, workshop because it was too crowded before you start moving from one room to a waiting line for the next.
I ended up going to re-watch Maomao's 3 first episodes in a viewing screen and then Bleach with the 3 first episode with the Thousand Blood War but I didn't get to talk much with anyone during the wait time between panels.
It was so crowded that I was sweating just by walking in plain t-shirt and shorts. I could not imagine the heat for the people with full suit cosplay.
