Probably worth noting that if he is the highest rated he's probably the highest paid. CBS and late night in general aren't doing well, people are tired of their 2 dimensional bullshit and the only people who still watch that drivel are boomers and pozzed leftoids. They're probably firing him because he's either too expensive to keep around and advertisers just don't want to pay the money he's demanding, or it is political in which case - oh well. People get fired for having rational, sane opinions all the time so this scumbag is just getting what he deserves even if it's far too late.
He can always go start his own gay shit somewhere else, or find another place to employ him.
