When we compare the development of society to how single cells became organisms, I feel like there's an implicit FEAR attached to that conversation that's like, "I'm gonna become a cog in a machine".
Cuz if we do it backwards and think about own own bodies as little nations, most of our cells are HORRIBLY oppressed, amirite?
Just staying in one place doing one job until you die? Everybody would hate that.
But that's where the "Subtilizing" comes in. Cuz whatever form our society takes as we evolve into this "Human Super-Body", we're likely going to be KEEPING a lot of the Good ideas we've developed (like personal volition) along the way.
