I love IS's story/cast. Part of it is the character writing is good and I like the cast. Atlus in general was obsessed with Nazis at the time.

One aspect you might not get if you aren't into conspiracies is how batshit they get, the game has many aspects heavily inspired by them. In the real world you will have Alex Jones talk about weapons to make frogs gay and the next moment turning into a discussion about vampires ruling the elite. Atlus used to have it as a focus for having modern day conspiracies being a major factor, but it was all thrown away with P3.
