More people enjoying it and more fan content. Oldsona gets enough new fan content as it is outside of porn being limited. It would be nice if more people would enjoy the games, and 3D models for porn and SFW 3D renders. The remakes have the ability to be fun too.

Without Reload, there wouldn't be a Mitsuru/Minato shipper who makes blender animations and sometimes I see their art and think "that's nice." Even if a remake is bad, I can see fan content like that and enjoy it no matter what.

One problem that comes up is the idea of a remake being required for them to enjoy Oldsona, which isn't true. It also is true that you cannot officially play Oldsona. Her biggest problem is that the Security mechanic was a massive flop on Atlus' part. If Security was part of P3 or P4, where there's some level of skill/chance in starting fights it might have mattered, but in a P5 where you're entering every non-scripted fight with an ambush (and I do mean every fight, 100%) it's completely meaningless.
You're just so much more incentivized to put other people first by the game itself. She's the last priority and most people who aren't guiding are probably gonna miss a SL or two.

I dislike Golden's story additions (the filler events primarily, I don't really have much of a problem with the Marie stuff), but personally I think the ability to customize the difficulty right from the start is enough to make the modern remaster my favorite version of P4 (in the Vita original, this was locked to New Game Plus, making it kind of pointless). Doing an Izanagi-only run with battle difficulty and rewards set to max is a much better experience than just playing a regular game of vanilla P4 on Hard.

Alright. I have to ask. Did anyone else simply not like Innocent Sin's story. I'm not talking about the gameplay, even though that did make it significantly harder to give a shit. I'm talking about the story. I liked the premises introduced. I thought the things they tried to do sounded cool and could have been good. The problem is that their execution always fell flat. Things just happened and, then, were swept under the rug, and, then, the next thing happened. It never felt like anything had any real impact. I mean, there were aliens and nazis in the game, but I just wasn't impressed. It didn't feel like those nazis needed to be there. They could have been replaced with anything. It just happened that they choose nazis.

Also, the dialogue is so fucking cringe it's unreal.

Atlus used to have it as a focus for having modern day conspiracies being a major factor, but it was all thrown away with P3.

Deus Ex allows most things to be explored in the side content, it doesn't really happen in IS's side content too much outside some of the NPCs discussing ideas. I'm not saying it's on the level of Planescape: Torment, nothing from Atlus is close to that level of detail with the side content.

EP is more grounded/focused on the New World Order and conspiracies around it, and it's much slower since you deal with the Chinese Mafia and local infiltrated groups outside of Kandori/Nyarly. There are people who love EP more since it's cast is very grounded for persona. Outside the Elly/Nanjo who have grounded themes and ideas but they themselves are in a state where it's not as realistic. Rumors being reality is a plot point but it's much smaller with the focus being on the conspiracy aspects of it with how deep the roots are for it.

Have fun, the translation patch has been online for a while with the PSP content. I recommend to carry your data from the IS's PSP data since it gives Tatsuya his max level from that save file instead of 55, which allows you to get endgame personas earlier.
