Anyway the reason I brought up the saber color thing was because of my idea for a Star Wars campaign set in the future.
>After OT and Sequels (but glossed over a bit)
>New Republic barely functioning and galaxy split into a bunch of different factions
>Jedi Order all but destroyed as Luke/Rey disappear
>Instead new Jedi start popping up all over the galaxy as the force heals itself
>These new Jedi act like mentors and are spiritual/religious figures in their communities
>Much more individualist then before with no Jedi high council to teach them dogma; but have a chance of falling to the dark side
>Players are Jedi trying to found a new Jedi order and traveling to planets to ensure that a new Sith order doesn't spring up among the Force-Users of the galaxy
>There is also a political drama in the background of new warlords (including an anti-human faction after the Empire's many atrocities) and players will have to navigate this while also worrying about the potential of an evil Sith group trying to corrupt the "new Jedi order" from within

Sound like a solid campaign premise? My lore knowledge is very limited to just the movies and some shows so I'm winging some stuff and trying to use the wiki to supplement.
