I really wanna know why Miles is being pushed so much when its detrimental to the Spidey brand and money. You could easily use all the other variants who DON'T shit on Peter's status, rogues, legacy like 2099 or Noir, hell or even make a universe where Miles is just the SOLE Spiderman and create new villains and supporting characters. They insist on having him parasitically leech off everything the original embodies, to the point where it doesn't even feel malicious, just downright stupid. We live in a world where an actual black creator could make Static Shock work as a comic and a show but modern Marvel can't do it for this kid? How? What the fuck is so hard?
