There's balance at a high level and then there's balance at a low level, and NRS sucks at both. NRS loves a particularly obnoxious form of zoner and includes retard-tier broken shit in a lot of their games. The bigger problem either way is their animation team, which sucks giga dongs. Marvel 2 is a legacy game (and has a gigantic roster) so it gets a pass, and a lot of the more busted stuff took a while to figure out. Games that come out as busted as MvC2 nowadays, like DNF Duel and now Nen Impact, rightfully crash and burn.
