Nah, I definitely think the games should have something of a table in it at some point during a tutorial. Even just bit by bit, something that tells you at least one single solitary time in-game what the term "kaja" means, or what "raku" means. Not just what these words mean stuck together in your skill list. It's not English, it's nowhere near English.

Those mutliple syllable code word terms are only for an attack buff though. There are code words that blend together (to me) for basically every skill. And unless you're actually gonna sit down and read it all and look at the information to solve the code puzzle yourself, it still does not come to your brain naturally the way the word "Curaga" and "Firaga" will. You still have to do the little mini translation in your mind to an English description every time you read "Agidyne" or "Diarahan".

Also, notice that both of those spells do not share common upgrade code between them. The attack spell is "dyne" for "heavy" level damage while the cure is "rahan" for "heavy" level healing. Medium damage is "lao" for some reason for Fire, instead of "on" or "la" or "ga" like the other spell damages are.

Meanwhile, the medium healing signifier is "rama". FOUR different code words just to signify a medium/heavy gradation the between Fire spell and Heal spell. No common denominator, the Fire spells and Healing spells share completely different upgrade signifiers from each other. The only similarity is "ma/mer" for magnify cast, but even then, that's still not the same code word. We are talking about layers and layers and layers of terminology at this point when it could easily just communicate what the skill does in English.
