>Do all of these countries use the Euro as a currency?
There are a lot of subcategories in Europe existing simultaneously but only four really matter.
>European Union, the not-quite-federation superstate
>Eurozone, the countries in the EU that use the Euro as currency, which is all of EU minus a few countries that are supposed to implement it when they fit some economic criteria. Some microstates not in the EU like Vatican and Andorra have an agreement to use Euro despite not being in the EU. Also Montenegro and Kosovo decided to start using Euros unilaterally without an agreement or being in the EU and nobody can really stop them
>European Economic Area, which is EU + another thing called the European Free Trade Association, which are special snowflakes like Norway and Switzerland that don't want to join the EU but have free trade agreements
Bonus points to the Schengen area which is the countries you can travel through, visit, export goods to or go live and work with an EU passport without a visa, which is all of EU except Ireland and Cyprus because islands.
