The ref's decision is explained by his hand gestures, not by speaking. The speaking was introduced by FIFA to the MLS because Americans were used to it, the "AFTER REVIEW" thing. Hell most football fans don't even like the fact VAR exists so the ref screaming onto the mic instead of just gesturing the decision makes people even more mad
