You get it, anon. There's something so wonderful about the classic original Hetalia style that's entirely missing in most of the art from Himaruya's fellow fudanshi and most yaoi art in general.
It's soft and simple, but expressive; detailed without feeling cluttered. Horny, but never grotesque or at all Liefeldian. I don't do much BL stuff, but in terms of effect, it most reminds me of stuff like Syundei or Kaneoya Sachiko
