Guys, I would really appreciate your honest advices.

I have been using windows my entire like and very soon I will get a new computer. I have started going down the rabbithole of all the shiny promises made by the linux community, but in practice it seems like a steaming pile of shit, it seems more like an ideology than a real OS.

What about MacOS? Or is windows as good as it gets?
